BASALT IN TECHNOLOGICAL AND INDUSTRIAL INNOVATIONThe event has two components: an International Conference and an International Business Forum. Each of these components has a specific program.
The Basalt Conference and Atlantic Business Forum will take place in Cape Verde, Praia City, in the Noble Hall of the National Assembly, from October 10 to 16, 2022.
The exploitation of synergies between the potential presented by the two components of the event, the BASALT CONFERENCE and the ATLANTIC BUSINESS FORUM, will necessarily result in cooperation between the scientific-technological sector and the productive sector and, consequently, in the transfer of technology and knowledge from the former to the latter, with high benefits for society in general.
Three working languages will be used: French, English and Portuguese.

A duly registered participant, if he is confronted with the impossibility of participating in the event, may transfer his registration to a third party. To this end, the replacement participant must be perfectly identified and accept the same conditions as the substituted participant.
For groups (minimum 10 Pax), official delegations or government entities, the Organization must be contacted for specific treatment.
The visa application, for participants who need it, is made via a platform available on the internet (www.ease.gov.cv). Exceptionally, it can be requested in embassies, consular posts or on arrival in the national territory, Cape Verde, upon payment of a surcharge. The cost of the Airport tax is paid directly to the competent authorities: approximately € 31.00. If necessary, the Organization can assist participants in the process of obtaining visas.
For official delegations, the Organization will communicate the procedures on a case-by-case basis in due course. Upon arrival at Cape Verde airport, participants will find a qualified team ready to help with all the necessary formalities and able to develop communication in three languages: Portuguese; French and English, namely:
1. Protocol at the airport for the reception of delegations at the airport and transfer to the hotel;
2. Protocol during each day of the event to register participants and support the event.
1. When participants arrive in Cape Verde, they are provided with means of transport on the Airport / place of accommodation / Airport routes.

3. For midday meals, lunches, during the days of the event, transport will be available on the routes depending on the location of the event / catering location / event location.

The diversity and quality of the accommodation units available as well as the reception and hospitality conditions ensure that participants have a pleasant stay at the event. Accommodation is provided, in hotels and private apartments, for participants who so wish, both in Cape Verde and in transit countries for a one-way trip to Cape Verde and return from Cape Verde.

This insurance covers any type of accident that may occur during the period during which the events take place. This same insurance may also include travel and luggage cover (loss, loss or damage to luggage; clothing and personal items transported in suitcases, bags or other suitably packed items belonging to the Insured.

The currency in common use in Cape Verde is the Cape Verdean escudu. All international currencies are accepted. The Euro is accepted in current transactions in Cape Verde and has a fixed parity with the Escudu (1 € = 110 265 Escudus). Internet services will be available at accommodation and event venues.
Where applicable, the Organization will be responsible for requesting the programming of institutional meetings / meetings with the competent entities, exclusively for the host country, Cape Verde.

The International Conference, entitled BASALT CONFERENCE, under the slogan BASALT THE WEALTH OF NATIONS, will take place on 10 - 12 October 2022 is focused on the application of agriminerals in agriculture, as a fertilizer for agricultural soils par excellence. A Roundtable for Integration and Discussions on 12 October 2022 will close the International Conference.
The objective of the «Roundtable on Integration and Debates» is to allow scientific and technological knowledge and the sharing of national, regional and international experiences in the context of the use of basalt powder in the Fertilization of agricultural soils and its advantages with the aim of increasing agricultural profitability, the quality of food produced and environmental protection.
The Round Table reinforces the emphasis placed on the scientific and technological foundations of «Rochagem» as an adequate instrument to respond to food security, healthy eating and environmental protection.
The Round Table also aims to provide public and private decision-makers with a set of tools and knowledge that can support policies oriented towards good practices in profitable and sustainable agriculture based on “basaltagem = Rochagem” technology, particularly in the fields of research scientist; legislative processes; the regulatory and quality control processes of foods produced on the basis of the use of rock powders in the fertilization of agricultural soils.
Communications will be made by national, regional and international experts, individually or on behalf of the institution they represent.
In parallel with this International Conference, on 13 - 16 October 2022, an international business event will be held, called ATLANTIC BUSINESS FORUM, under the slogan «Cabo Verde - a Link to Markets of Excellence», which aims to bring together companies, industries, investors, financiers, importers, exporters, economic operators in general, from all sectors and all origins, as well as institutions that are bastions of development, focused on markets of high potential and opportunities, as are the cases of ECOWAS, the European Union (EU / GSP+), Brazil and the United States of America (AGOA). A Business Round on 15 - 16 October 2022 will close the Business Forum.
The Atlantic Business Round that we are initiating results in meetings, B2B, where suppliers, importers, exporters, investors, companies in general and other entities have the opportunity to promote and sell their products and services to buyers and investors from different markets. Through individual meetings, participants can make deals, export/import and take advantage of new opportunities or create networks to expand their operations to new markets.
Two presentation sessions on: Project presentation session, Product presentation session, Presentation session of the services, Partnership presentation session, business and investment opportunities in Cape Verde: A presentation session will be dedicated to the islands of Sotavento (Maio, Santiago, Fogo and Brava) and the second presentation session will be devoted to all the islands of Barlavento (Santo Antão, São Vicente, São Nicolau, Sal and Boa Vista).
